Each of these paintings mimics a Craigslist posting of an item for sale in my city. The paintings were photographed and placed back in the the same For Sale section of Craigslist, listed at the same price as the item that was originally posted. The text of the original post was also used, although I indicated I was selling a painting. Many of the paintings were made and placed on the For Sale page within a day of the original posting.
